MEET THE FOUNDER
Local business has always been personal to me.
I come from three generations of self-employed people and entrepreneurs. My great-grandparents owned a bakery on the South Side of Chicago. My grandfather owned a truck spring factory in Chicago, and my mother went on to become a land developer throughout the Chicagoland area.
Growing up around people who built something of their own taught me early that a small business is never just a business. It represents someone’s livelihood, reputation, hard work, relationships, and often years of taking chances on themselves.
That perspective is a big part of why I created NelgoMedia.
My background in marketing, digital content, social media, and community storytelling has shown me that visibility doesn’t come from trying to be everywhere. It comes from showing up in the right places, telling your story clearly, and helping people understand why your business is worth choosing.
That’s what I want NelgoMedia to do for local businesses: help good businesses get seen, remembered, trusted — and chosen.
